[META] An easy way to create and manage multiple MEGA accounts (Method 1)

Hey guys, so I have been researching ways to create and manage multiple MEGA accounts without going through the hassle of creating multiple email addresses. I'm sure there are a lot of ways this can be done, but I wanted to share what I found with you guys. So far I've found 2 ways we can do this. This is the first method:

What you will need: A GMail account

The trick here is to use GMail's filtering mechanism to our advantage. Suppose, if somename@gmail.com is the gmail address, GMail re-routes the mails sent to somename+anything@gmail.com to somename@gmail.com. So MEGA's confirmation link sent to somename+mega1@gmail.com will end up at somename@gmail.com. Since MEGA accepts '+' as a special character in the email address while signing up, each of these aliases for your gmail account will be unique. This way, even if you assign different passwords for each MEGA account and end up forgetting them, the reset password links will end up in the same account, saving you the hassle of logging out and logging in.

The second method I've found involves setting up a domain name and modifying its MX records, which I'm still kinda trying out. If you guys are interested, I'll post what I find here.

P.S.: I assume many of this subreddit's readers may know of this method, I'm just posting it here so ppl who don't know can benefit.

with gmail you can also add any "." to your email. As in, any email to some.name@gmail.com will go to somename@gmail.com so you can use so.mename@gmail.com, somenam.e@gmail.com etc... All websites consider them as different addresses when you use them to register accounts.

Yes, that's a way to do it too! But with that, only a limited number of aliases are possible.
