Is there something extra I need to do that I'm just missing? I downloaded as normal and opened it in VLC media player (as normal) but have no picture or sound... Am I just being an idiot? The answer: probably

I've opened RAR files directly in VLC before with no problems

I have this problem, too

I watched VLC in the task manager. It uses a lot of processing power. It is doing something. It is probably to complex for VLC. It is confused

I just extracted it with an unrar program and opened the mkv in vlc
