Downloaded the file. But it threw me an error while extracting (around 98%) saying the file is corrupt.

Edit : Not sure what the problem was with megadownloader. Re-downloaded the file via zippyshare, had no problem with it.

Also downloaded with megadownloader extraction hits 99% then throws up a corruption error and also asks for the next part of the file which is .r00 or something??

The 265 format is a successor to the 264 format and produces smaller files for roughly the same quality.
