Is this with a narrator, or without? When I was a kid I used to listen to a record of this with a narrator, and I recently found a rip of that, which elicited nostalgia galore...
It's in German, though, so it'd be wasted on most of this community.
It's a very euphoric, child-friendly narration. The Tortoises, e.g., get introduced with:
Bravo, all the mammals applauded [referencing the previous chapter], as well as all the birds, insects and fish. Only a conspicuously naked mealworm shakes his head, and says: I.... prefer the Parisian Tortoise Ballet [cue the beginning of the Waltz]
Oh, they come, here they come! Just, behold... how rhythmically they lift their legs...
