I've been a drummer longer than I've been anything else in life but I've almost never liked Fred Armisen and thought his drumming on Seth Meyers was amateurish... Is this decent or really cliche?

It's okay. I'm a fan of Fred Armisen in Portlandia and Documentary Now, so I expected this to be quite funny. I was certainly laughing at times, but I felt a lot of the standup was forced with little connecting together of thoughts. I'm no drummer, so you'd probably get more out of it than me. I did enjoy the bits that actually involved drumming and wish there was more of that, especially with the drummer "celebs" that he brought on stage.
